This time, I would like to introduce some recommended mystery novels that I got have read.

1. “And Then There Were None” by Agatha Christie – A classic locked-room mystery where ten strangers are invited to a remote island, and one by one, they start to die. This novel is quite scary.

2. “The Hound of the Baskervilles” by Arthur Conan Doyle– A classic Sherlock Holmes novel where the detective investigates a mysterious death on the foggy moors of Devonshire.

3. “Magpie Murders” – This novel combines a classic mystery within a mystery. It follows a book editor who becomes embroiled in a murder investigation when she starts reading a manuscript from her famous mystery author client.

4. “The Word Is Murder” (Detective Daniel Hawthorne series) – In this series opener, Horowitz inserts himself into the story as a character alongside Detective Daniel Hawthorne. Together, they investigate a suspicious murder.

5.“The ABC Murders” – Poirot is challenged by a serial killer who leaves an ABC railway guide at each crime scene. This novel showcases Poitrot`s deductive skills in a race against time to catch the murder.

6.“Murder on the Orient Express” – In this Poirot classic, a murder occurs on a luxurious train traveling through Europe, and Poirot is called upon to solve the intricate puzzle of who among the passengers could have committed the crime.

7.“The Red-Headed League” is a short story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the famous detective Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes hears a strange story from an applicant who responded to a mysterious job advertisement and took up the position. The mystery turns out to be an unbelievable scheme, but Holmes gradually unravels the case. It’s the first detective novel that truly moved me.

In the autumn of reading book season, I highly recommend it, so give it a read!

今回は、私が読んだおすすめのミステリー小説をご紹介したいと思います。

1.アガサ・クリスティ「そして誰もいなかった」-古典的な密室殺人事件で 、10人の見知らぬ人が離島に招待され、1人ずついなくなります。結構怖いです。

2.アーサー・コナンドイル「バスカヴィル家の猟犬」-名探偵シャーロック・ホームズ がデボンシャーの霧の湿原で不思議な死を調査する小説。ワンちゃんがキーです（笑

3.アンソニー・ホロウィッツ「カササギ殺人事件」-この小説は、ミステリーの中にミステリーが組み込まれていて、謎解きを２度できる面白い作品です。

4.アンソニー・ホロウィッツ「The word is murder」(ダニエル・ホーソーン刑事シリーズ)-このシリーズのでは、作者ホロウィッツ本人が、ダニエル・ホーソーン刑事と一緒にキャラクターとして物語に身を投じ、一緒に、不審な殺人を調査します。

5.アガサ・クリスティ「ABC殺人事件」–名探偵ポアロは、犯罪現場にABC鉄道ガイドを残す連続殺人犯に挑戦します。この小説は、殺人を捕まえるための時間との闘いで、ポワロの名探偵ぶりが光っています。恐怖です。

6.アガサ・クリスティ「オリエント急行殺人事件」-ヨーロッパを旅する豪華列車のオリエント急行で殺人が起きます。そして名探偵ポアロは乗客の中で誰が犯罪を犯したかという、複雑なパズルを解いていく、名作です。最後はなんだか感動しちゃいます。

7.アーサー・コナンドイル「赤毛のリーグ」は、名探偵ホームズは、謎の仕事求人を目にしそこに就職した相談者から、変な話を聞きます。その謎がとんでもない計画だったのですが、ホームズが事件を解決していきます。私が初めて感動した推理小説です。
